Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) 2025

A*STAR participated in the Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) 2025, held from 15 - 17 October at Singapore EXPO.

Centred on the theme “Next-Gen Manufacturing with AI”, the event highlighted how advanced science and technology are shaping the future of manufacturing. Through research and industry partnerships, A*STAR showcased how organisations can apply AI to improve processes and support more sustainable operations.

At the exhibition, visitors explored A*STAR’s innovations through demonstrations of real-world applications in AI, automation, and sustainability. These included adaptive systems that optimise production and intelligent platforms that support human-AI collaboration on the factory floor.

The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster, a national platform hosted by A*STAR, presented a complete additive manufacturing journey to show how it enables new production capabilities. They featured generative design and advanced materials, including processing and post-processing.

The programme also featured sessions such as a fireside chat on real-world use cases and lessons from the shopfloor, as well as a panel on AI-powered, energy-efficient, and autonomous manufacturing systems.

Alongside ITAP, A*STAR supported ecosystem events that brought together industry and research stakeholders. The National Robotics Programme Tech Summit focused on scaling robotics adoption through stronger partnerships and ecosystem alignment, while the NAMIC Global Additive Manufacturing Summit highlighted the shift from pilot projects to large-scale deployment.
