AIMfg participated in "From Adoption to Impact: AI for Manufacturing Excellence" on 18 March 2026.
Jointly organised by Singapore Precision Engineering and Technology Association (SPETA), AutomationSG, and Epicor, the event focused on translating AI capabilities into measurable manufacturing outcomes. Discussions centred on practical applications that improve quality, throughput, and efficiency on the shopfloor.
Dr. Wei Wang, Centre Director of AIMfg, shared insights on how manufacturers can unlock value from AI by focusing on solutions that deliver tangible results. The session highlighted the importance of moving beyond experimentation to scaled implementation, where AI drives productivity gains and supports green transformation goals.
The programme also featured emerging innovations and success stories from AIMfg’s collaborations with industry partners. These examples demonstrated how organisations are applying AI to address operational challenges and achieve improvements in their manufacturing processes.
